A Day at the Bodensee

Going to a lake that's part of three countries doesn't happen everyday. The Bodensee is located in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. It's a gorgeous lake filled with lots of fun activities.

My friends and I chose to relax at a cute campground and go stand up paddle boarding. We knew other people that went to a nearby Kletterwald, a ropes course in the woods. We also knew people that went to a water park and on a ferry. Anyhow back to one of the best days on our month long German vacation. The morning of our day at the Bodensee we didn't even know what we were doing. We liked the idea of being on the water so we decided to hop on a bus and ended up in a very tiny town...

Luckily we found our way down to the water and to an adorable little campground with paddle board rentals. This campground was so nostalgic and it felt like we had walked right out of an eighties movie! After paddle boarding around for an hour and accidentally spotting a nude beach we headed back to shore for some ice cream. The lady working at the little campground shop was very kind and kindly let us speak in our broken German. Two or three ice creams later we were all ready to relax in the sun and did so until it was time for our amazing day to end.
